Internships

The DeKalb CSB offers internships for students from Georgia schools of nursing, pharmacy, social work, professional counseling, health information technology, public relations/communications, video production and human resources management as follows:

Clinical Internships

Nursing Schools

• Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University
• Georgia State University - School of Nursing

Note:  All clinical internships are for students in a Master's degree program or above. We can accept students only from the above Georgia Schools. We will accept applications for Fall 2012 beginning in January 2012. If you attend one of the above universities, please email karend@dekcsb.org to request an application.

Health Information Technology Student Internships

The Dekalb Community Service Board currently accepts Health Information Technology student interns from DeVry University. If you attend DeVry University, please e-mail Gwendolyn Duffin (gwend@dekcsb.org) to request an application. Note that students from other Georgia Universities may inquire about contracting with the Dekalb Community Service Board. 

Public Relations & Video Production Internships

The DeKalb Community Service Board offers internship opportunities year round for students studying public relations, film, communications and marketing. Human Resources Management

The DeKalb Community Service Board offers internship for students studying human resources management. To apply, please contact Connie Spruill at connies@dekcsb.org.
