Volunteers

It is with a great deal of enthusiasm that we partner with volunteers to provide mental health, developmental disabilities and addiction services. The DeKalb Community Service Board offers a clinical volunteer tract and a clerical volunteer tract both of which are based on a volunteer's background and level of experience.

The goal for the DeKalb CSB's volunteer program is to develop a partnership that will be gratifying to both the volunteer and the consumers being served. Generally hours are from 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Volunteer selection includes such things as an application process, reference check and criminal records check.
