DeKalb Community Service Board Holds Public Budget
Hearing
DECATUR, Georgia -- DECATUR, Georgia--The DeKalb Community Service
Board, a public provider of mental health, mental retardation and
substance abuse services in DeKalb County will conduct a public
budget hearing June 19 at 6:00 p.m. in the Bohan Auditorium of the
Eleanor Richardson Health Building, located at 445 Winn Way in Decatur.
Consumers, family members, advocacy organizations, and others interested
in state fund appropriations for public behavioral health services
are encouraged to attend.
The DeKalb Community Service Board will review the fiscal year
2008 agency budget proposed by the DeKalb Community Service Board
director, Gary S. Richey. The budgets to be reviewed are: adult
mental health services, child and adolescent services, crisis services,
developmental disabilities services, addictive diseases services,
pharmacy, compliance and care management, community relations, human
resources and administrative services. Fiscal year 2008 commences
July 1, 2007 and ends June 30, 2008. The DeKalb Community Service
Board bylaws require the annual operating budget to be approved
at the first meeting of the fiscal year. The agency will adopt the
annual operating budget at its July 17 meeting.
