DeKalb Community Service Board
Introduces New Logo and Slogan
DECATUR, Georgia - Members of the DeKalb Community Service Board
(CSB) voted unanimously on April 18 to adopt a new DeKalb CSB logo
and slogan. The new logo and slogan were developed to build the
agency's brand as a high-quality behavioral healthcare provider
and educational resource for the DeKalb community. The DeKalb CSB
provides mental health, developmental disabilities, and addictive
diseases services to approximately 13,000 DeKalb County residents
per year and assists thousands of individuals in leading more productive
and positive lives.
"The new logo and slogan help to convey a message of hope for
recovery to the people we serve and their families," said Board
Chairperson, Shelia Brown. "The Board wants to ensure that
residents of DeKalb County are aware that DeKalb CSB is here to
serve its community and to make a positive impact on each individual
served," said Brown.
With over 20 locations across the county, the DeKalb CSB is available
to serve children, adolescents, adults and older adults with outpatient
mental health counseling, day and evening substance abuse treatment,
acute stabilization and detoxification, psychosocial rehabilitation
and residential services as well as a full range of developmental
disabilities services. Accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation
of Healthcare Organizations, the DeKalb CSB is a leading behavioral
healthcare provider and ensures that quality services are available
to consumers and their family members.
The agency's Speakers Bureau is currently scheduling meetings with
organizations around the county to give a presentation about its
services continuum. If you are interested in receiving more information
about the DeKalb CSB or if you are interested in having a presentation
for your organization, please call the Office of Community Relations
at (404) 508-7875.
