Release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Jana Scoville First Annual WALK OF HEROes, Saturday, July 21, 2007 DECATUR, Georgia -The DeKalb CSB Foundation held the first annual 2007 Walk of HEROes, benefiting the DeKalb CSB's mental health, developmental disabilities and addiction services on Saturday, July 21, 2007. The Walk of HEROes (Helping to Enable Recovery & Opportunity) brought approximately 200 DeKalb CSB consumers, families, staff, board and advisory council members and other stakeholders together to Walk and raise funds for the DeKalb CSB. Community members and staff formed teams or chose to walk as individuals. Sponsors of the Walk included: Whole Foods, Crossroads News, Trinity Body, Bank of America, Office Depot, Trances Arc, City of Decatur, 99X, Blue Bell Ice Cream, Simpsonwood Conference and Retreat Center, Sweet Melissa's, Conundrums, Fast Signs, To access behavioral health services, the DeKalb CSB
has a Central Access line, 404-892-4646. Clinicians are available
for assessments, appointment scheduling, referrals and crisis calls.
