DeKalb Community Service Board Foundation, Inc. Makes $15,000
Donation to DeKalb CSB Programs and Services
DECATUR, Georgia - The DeKalb CSB Foundation announced at its January
meeting that it would fund $15,000 worth of supplies and equipment
items for programs and services of the DeKalb CSB. The items were
identified by program managers in a needs assessment survey as items
that were not being funded by the program's budget.
Items being funded include:
- Mental Health, Substance Abuse and HIV Training Materials for
Outpatient Sites
- Beam Scales and Blood Pressure Cuffs for Outpatient Sites
- Scales for all DeKalb CSB Sites
- Freestanding portable screenflex room divider for North PSR
- Video Camera for Central PSR at DAC
- Projector to be housed at DAC
- Exercise Bike for Crossroads
- Chest Freezers for two Developmental Disabilities Residential
Sites
- TV/DVD/CD Combo to be mounted in DEC Waiting Area
- Wheelchair Table for CHOICE Program
- Shredder for CHOICE Program
- Therapeutic Games for Clifton Springs Child and Adolescent Services
The DeKalb CSB Foundation, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit corporation
that has been established to promte and advance corporate and foundational
support, fund-raising activities and grant opportunities to benefit
the DeKalb CSB. Two signature events of the DeKalb CSB Foundation
include a 5K Walk of HEROes to be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008
and an annual "Expressions of the Journey" Auction to
be held on Friday, October 24, 2008.
