DeKalb Community Service Board Foundation, Inc. Hosts Second
Annual "Expressions of the Journey" Auction
DECATUR, Georgia - The DeKalb Community Service Board Foundation,
Inc. held its second annual fundraiser at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, October
25, 2007 at The Historic Decatur Courthouse in downtown Decatur
at 101 East Court Square.
Guests attending the "Expressions of the Journey" Auction
enjoyed heavy hors d'oeuvres and bidding during silent and live
auctions of art from local artists, event tickets, gift certificates,
shopping passes and other coveted items. Several exciting auction
items included an overnight package to Crowne Plaza Ravina, handmade
mixed media artwork and a 3 day, 2 night stay at the Grand Bay at
Coconut Grove, Florida with a 60 foot boat charter.
The Auction drew a crowd of approximately 150 people and raised
close to $16,000 which will benefit the DeKalb CSB's mental health,
developmental disabilities and addiction services.
The DeKalb CSB provides a full continuum of mental health, developmental
disabilities and addiction services across DeKalb County and serves
