The DeKalb CSB provides a continuum of co-occurring capable outpatient and residential substance abuse services including American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Levels I, II, and III.

ASAM Level III sub-acute detoxification services are provided through the DeKalb Crisis Center. Following detox, consumers are referred to outpatient treatment or to contracted longer-term residential treatment programs or halfway houses.

A determination of need for residential treatment may occur during detox, during an outpatient assessment, or as part of the ongoing treatment process.
