The DeKalb Addiction Clinic (DAC) provides comprehensive outpatient and intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment services addressing the social, psychological, physical and spiritual components of recovery through education, counseling, coping skills and life skills development.
Intensive Outpatient Day Services are offered at DAC including the New Vision's Women's Program. Evening Intensive Outpatient Treatment is also available at DAC.

DeKalb Addiction Clinic views addiction as a disease affecting all aspects of a person’s life, including family and significant others. Family involvement in the treatment process is encouraged. Our programs promote the development of new life skills to maintain abstinence and support recovery.

All consumers receive a nursing assessment, standard lab work, and drug/alcohol screening once admitted. Random drug and alcohol screenings occur throughout treatment. A psychiatric assessment is also completed, and medications are prescribed if warranted. HIV education, testing, and referral are provided at all substance abuse programs through an HIV risk-reduction specialist.

Affiliated 12 step fellowship meetings are available at DeKalb Addiction Clinic and at Clifton Springs Mental Health Center for consumers and the community.
