Eligibility Unit
The Benefits
Eligibility Unit has implemented the following procedures to assess
and address the concerns/needs of individuals served:
- Conducts
meetings with DeKalb CSB staff to discuss/review consumer resources
issues.
- Conducts
meetings with consumers and/or their families to discuss/review
resource issues.
- Prepares
periodic CMHC reports to identify consumers that are apparently
experiencing financial difficulties.
- Conducts
regular meetings with designated staff of public assistance agencies
to discuss/review issues concerning the status of consumers with
pending benefits or consumers whose benefits are in jeopardy.
- Issues periodic
reports to services directors, agency management and other interested
stakeholders to provide information about assistance provided
to consumers.
