Who We Are
The DeKalb Community
Service Board (CSB) is a public agency, a public corporation and an
instrumentality of the State of Georgia, and is created pursuant to
OCGA § 37-2-6 et seq. to provide mental health, developmental
disabilities, and addictive diseases services. The service area of
the agency is DeKalb County, Georgia. The DeKalb CSB succeeded the
DeKalb County Board of Health on July 1, 1994, as the public provider
of mental health, developmental disabilities, and addictive diseases
services in DeKalb County.
Our

The
mission of the DeKalb Community Service Board is to be in partnership
with consumers, their families, and other organizations to provide
mental health, mental retardation and other developmental disabilities,
and addictive diseases services which result in the fullest participation
of consumers in community life.
