Child Care Bureau US Department of Health and Human Services The Child Care Bureau is dedicated to enhancing the quality, affordability, and availability of child care for all families. They administer federal funds to states, territories, and tribes to assist low-income families in accessing quality child care for children when the parents work or participate in education or training. The website contains information on about the funding program, as well as a parent section that includes general information about how to locate a good child care. Child Care Nutrition Resource System USDA This site by the USDA provides recipes, resources and information on providing nutritious meals to children, as well as food safety techniques. This information also includes meal plan suggestions, resources for more information, and current news articles. Child Care Data US Census Bureau This site provides US Census data and other surveys regarding child care usage, costs and caregivers, as well as links to more information.
